Skilled / Trusteeship Workshops
Our Skilled/Trusteeship workshop is designed to take you through the basics of charity trusteeship and how you can use your skills to support a volunteer involving organisation within a trustee role. The workshop normally lasts about an hour and will cover what trusteeship is, along with what you need to know when becoming a trustee, your legal responsibilities, where to do more research along with the basic trustee roles.
It's ideal for anyone thinking about using certain skills but is unsure of what is involved and the degree of responsibility. This workshop may have speakers after and a range of current roles will also be at the event for you to browse.
Please note this is not trustee training, and isn’t designed for current sitting volunteers. We suggest you attend HCF Training and Development Trustee Roles and Responsibilities training.
